Hello, looking for a little advice.

We have a Server 2008 R2 running Windows 7 (couple of 10) stations.

We use Scholar Pack for our MIS and recently, have found that some of the reports it generates, which download via Chrome are not opening correctly.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the files (.xls) are being blocked by the host os. It doesn't appear to do this with any other excel files, and I note also that these are in an older format. We use Office 2010 and 2016, whereas these files are in the older xls format.

At present, the only way my users are able to correctly open these files is to right click each one, open properties and invididually and click unblock in General.

The message next to unblox says: Security This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer.

Can anyone offer me some guidance on how I can create a GPO to overcome this problem?
