angrycomputingteacher Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Hello, I'm using iTALC and I am trying to reinstall it and all the configurations on a rebuild of a machine. This is currently the only room that we are using iTALC in. I have setup the configurations and things I need in the Management Console but when I try to open iTALC after saving and restarting the service it want me to enter my login details so I do but then it tells me something similar to this: Could not contact iTALC service. It is likely the credentials or key files are not correctly setup. Try to contact your administrator. I'm thinking that it is an issue that I might just need to generate new keys as I am selecting the key files and configs from a network location.
6Foot2 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 We were fairly happy with iTalc on XP but we found the performance on Windows 7 unsatisfactory to say the least. Here are a couple of links to other iTalc threads on Edugeek: Link 1: italc - Search Results - EduGeek.net Link 2: italc2 - Search Results - EduGeek.net 1

angrycomputingteacher Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 None of those really helped, I think I'm going to uninstall it then install it again.
angrycomputingteacher Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 I just re-installed it. Got different keys and already deployed to machines. Job done!
