Morning everyone

I have a problem with my Windows 10 Pro machine on my domain in that the Mapped Drive GPO is not applying.

I have a 2003 domain/forest level with 1x 2008R2 DC and 2x 2012R2 DC's (the 2008 is going to be decommissioned).

All of the client machines are Windows 7 and the mapping works. It is only not working on my Win10 machine.

I have googled and have set the paths in Hardened UNC Paths but nothing. I have set the EnableLinkedConnections reg key. I have installed the Win10 ADMX policy entries into the \\domain\SYSVOL\domain.local\Policies\PolicyDefinitions folder but still nothing.

I have run the GPRESULT and the the Mapped Drives policy is not applying but there is nothing in the event viewer to tell me why it is not running.

I want to roll out Windows 10 as an OS but daren't if i cannot map drives.

Anyone come across this? is it a simple care of updating the domain/forest levels?

Banging my head now!

That a top bloke!

The answer was.......Authenticated Users had been removed from the Delegation of the Mapped Drives Policy. I add this back in and after a GPUPDATE /Force, I can now see the mapped drives!!

Thanks!
