techy32 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I am trying to install SIMS on a client machine manually as it is refusing to install with Solus 3. When i try to install from Solus folder under SIMS extracted files (SIMSCenteralServerSetup.exe), I get an error message " insufficient disk space". We have never had any problem like this on any PC with on our network. Any idea??
Steve21 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 You meant to be trying to install the server? That's not the client app. That's the application one. Does it do the same for that one? Steve
bald_pig Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 are you trying to install the client on the SIMS server?
clareq Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 if you are trying to install the SIMS client you should be running SIMSInst.exe.
techy32 Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 are you trying to install the client on the SIMS server? SIMS client on a PC.
bald_pig Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 SIMS client on a PC. Then the server storage is irrelevant, how much free space on the pc you are trying to install on?

techy32 Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 We need to resolve the issue with Solus 3 which shows this error when installing through Solus3 UI "cannot run PushPackageToAgent: Endpointnet.tcp://172.16.xx.xx:52966/ not found" It seem to me a problem with firewall.... but which port is causing problem........

You can confirm whether a client can communicate on that port by going to CMD and typing the following, substituting 172.16.xx.xx with the actual IP of your SIMS server: telnet 172.16.xx.xx 52966 If successful, you'll get a blinking underscore on the first line of Command Prompt.
