I'm just about to set up a new cycle (we've never timetabled in novat6). Our breakfast club lasts 20 minutes and lessons last 40 minutes. There is a soft break and a medium lunch break. Given the cycle works on each period lasting the same length of time does anyone know how I should create the shorter breakfast club as visible on staff and student timetables 5 days per week?

You can tell Nova that different periods have different lengths. You either do it when exporting the cycle or there's an option in the cycle menu called -timings of the school day-

 

If you've added brek club as a period it will appear. But did you mean visually representing the shorter length with a narrower cell? For that I would explore whether you can edit the template where you print timetables. (I wanna say you can, but it's years since I've hac to)
