Hello all,

I've deployed some fonts, but according to the supplier 'Use Contextual Alternates' needs to be enabled, however interestingly, every time I close/open Word, the setting is unticked.

This is located by pressing CTRL + D, Advanced, then ticking it towards the bottom and pressing OK.

I've also explored Regedits and the Office Resource Kit (which I already use), and cannot find anything. Any help would be much appreciated, otherwise users will have to enable this every time! :)

Unless you click the save to default it wouldn't save it as you're only applying it temporary. It modifies the default templates etc.

To expand that, as you're changing the default font for the template (or options linked to it) you'd need to either redirect the default template or replace it with your modified version.

When you save to default it should modify your normal.dtom under %appdata%\Microsoft\Templates
