[mdt] Modifying ZTiGather

Trying to streamline the driver injection process for MDT so i have more control,

as i understand ZTIgather queries the machine by WMIC for specific items (make and model) which is fine on branded hardware like Dell or HP as this information is present.

 

On other machine like Novatech or Stone this isnt the case, managed to find a work around using selection profiles and adding a WMIC query asking for manufacturer & product which works but is a bit of a faff, as each driver needs a selection profile and editing.

 

Is it possible to add manufacturer & product as a variable in ZTI?

This is the approach I use and it works a treat, it only injects the drivers for that and make and model rather than it trying all available drivers.
