Well this has got me a little stumped. Moving from KVM/Linux setup to Hyper-V, and this is irritating me as I've got something wrong.

sillyvmdiagram.jpg

Two ports for the trunk on the switch, trunk defined and several VLANs run tagged down it. Two NICs teamed on the VM host, this team is the NIC presented as the Virtual Switch. Host has its own USB ethernet adapter for the sake of the network. The virtual machine though has no network access.

From the diagram and the above rambling, can anyone steer me right?

Thanks for any and all assistance! :)

Well I've had a look, but not sure how. I was hoping I'd be missing something on the VM by right-clicking for Settings > Network Adapter and then just selecting the VLAN by number, but that's not seemed to sort me.

Thanks for the reply. :)

OH I got it! Okay, I went to Server Manager > Local Server > NIC Teaming (enabled) > right-click team (bottom left) and properties > Additional properties > set to LACP mode.

All ok now. :)
