Joanne Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Aight, got an issue with the software that comes with the visualisers and could do with brainstorming some ideas. Currently: Windows 10 laptop - HDMI - Clevertouch Board. Image is set to duplicate. When you launch the software the camera displays fine on the laptop, but not on the board. You can extend desktops and drag the optoma window across and get the image on the screen, but then you can't use the built in annotation software. This also doesn't work if you have second screen only. The software works fine with all the same hardware, but machine on Windows 7. IS THERE... any alternative software that I can use with them? Fanks in advance.
Joanne Posted June 28, 2016 Author Posted June 28, 2016 The plot thickens. I have a spare visualiser I have brought into my office. 2nd screen is an ASUS monitor - HDMI input. Toshiba Satellite Pro C850 - Windows 10 Education - Works Fine on both screens. Resolution 1366 x 768. Toshiba Satellite Pro C50 - Windows 10 LTSB - displays on 2nd screen only. Resolution 1366 x 768. Very-PC SS Notebook - Windows 10 LTSB - displays on laptop screen only. Resolution 1920 x 1080 - also tried 1366 x 768, but same issue. Toshiba Tecra Z50 (I think) - Windows 10 Education - displays on laptops screen only. Resolution 1366 x 768. I'm very confused. Driver issue perhaps? All are using whatever Windows downloads for them.
Norphy Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 This isn't one of those stupid DRM issues is it? There are some video players which will only display on the "Primary" display. Could it be that the visualiser had the same issue? What happens if you set the projected display to be the primary?
Joanne Posted June 28, 2016 Author Posted June 28, 2016 but it's using the same DC300i software on each machine. If I extend the desktop it works fine. If I do 2nd display only it works fine. But won't do both!
PennyW Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 The DC300i works with Win10 but it’s only a VGA device - it does not support HDMI.
