Allow user to update software on Windows 7

We are about to roll out Autodesk 2014 to about 24 laptops. As the software needs to be updated every 8 weeks I was wondering what the best way to allow a member of non IT staff to do the upgrade would be? I don't want to give admin rights if I can avoid it.

I give staff local admin rights so they can make changes to the machines... in this instance, can you give them 'power user' rights? Or perhaps modify on the c: drive?

I thought power users in Windows 7 didnt have the same rights as previously with XP?
