pete Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 We signed up for a 3yr EES last week and things started appearing around the 23rd in the VLSC, but it's not all there. Yesterday I received an order confirmation along the lines of "this is what you've ordered", only just now to receive the same confirmation with minus values alongside the quantity in it. Is this standard MS licensing "no-one knows how it works" and I should just wait a few days for them to sort it out? I've got my software vendor poking them to work out what's going on, but it seems a bit more pants-on-head than when we started our (ancient, but still valid) Select Plus Agreement.
Blue_Cookeh Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Every time we've ordered/renewed EES it all comes in at one go on the day a) the order went through or b) the old contract finished, and we've never had any e-mails with minus amounts on. Sounds like someone dun goofed somewhere to me!
Cache Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 I've only ever had a confirmation come through with minus values on it when the reseller placed the order against the wrong agreement so they placed a minus order to cancle the incorrect order and then transferred them to the new agreement. Ours normally takes a week or so for the order to appear in the VLSC and have the totals filter through. The agreement number tends to show within a day.
pete Posted June 28, 2016 Author Posted June 28, 2016 This morning it looks OK-ish. Well, the KMS keys are missing but an email to [email protected]* should fix that (and the missing Windows Enterprise and MDOP).
newpersn Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Yeah I've always had to ring them up for the KMS. Sorry to drag this up. But dose anyone have any information for this as i got KMS keys missing from VL
pete Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 I rang 0800 917 9016 with my VLSC ID and the agreement number. It took about five minutes after asking for KMS keys for Office, Win 10 Edu and Win 10 Enterprise. 1
Boredguy Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Like @pete a quick 5 minute phone call and the keys are there. The MS rep I spoke to ensured I refreshed the page to ensure they appeared before finishing the phone call. 1
newpersn Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Cheers. 10 mins on the phone and had both Windows 10 and Server 2012 R2 Windows 10 KMS key added
