webby74 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Hi All Got an issue that I can't work out at the moment. New staff member started so created a new email account on Office 365 in exactly the same way as normal. Once created I also added them to the relevant distribution lists. Again the exact same way I have added others. Now the issue is that if people email using the distribution lists that include the new staff member they get an undeliverable message back for that new staff member. However you can send an email to the new staff member directly by using his email address. He can also send emails with no issue. The message you receive when emailing the distribution list is: Your message couldn't be delivered. The Domain Name System (DNS) reported that the recipient's domain does not exist. The email address above lis does have the wrong domain name (ending in .local rather than the .co.uk) but that is not how he set up. Confussed. Anyone come across this? The only thing I haven't tried is deleting his account and recreating it.
webby74 Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 To add to this further: He is only added to All Staff list. So I added him to another distribution list and tested. No issue. So it is just the one distribution list. Even more confused.
mukz Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 make a test account and see if it is happening on that. If working on test account, check the proxyaddress attribute for the said staff member 1
