ADSI Edit

Hi

 

I'm trying to dcpromo demote a 2008 DC and need to change a setting in ADSI edit first.

 

I'm looking for CN=Infrastructure but its no there under the Default naming context.

 

Any ideas?

Open ADSI

Action > Connect to...

Under Connection point > check radio button Select/type a DN or CN

type

DC=ForestDnsZones,DC=domain,DC=school,DC=sch,DC=uk[/Code]

this will add it to the tree in the left hand pane under the name default naming context
 

Cn=infrastructure should appear in the root of that tree
