the_wuigi Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hi....I have a 64bit 2012 box that we will be using as a print server, I have 32bit windows 7 clients, do the 32bit & 64bit print drivers on the server need to be "identical revisions" for this to work? Thanks
linkazoid Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I'm pretty sure they do and I have always made sure that they are on the print server we manage.
MatthewL Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Yes ideally to save any issues. - - - Updated - - - I tend to use Windows 7 x86 & x64 which does most OS's these days.
MatthewL Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Yeah frequently use that, most drivers cover all OS and and just have the 32 and 64 bit when you look at the versions for the drivers they are all the same. What machines are you using?
MatthewL Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Sorry I meant machines as in printers, was going to have a look at the drivers available.
