LiamHaith Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I'd be reluctant to stream to an EduGeek branded channel due to the fact that whilst streaming, my personality is a little below the bar in terms of political correctness and definite use of mature language... not sure how many people would want to listen to me swear profusely at whatever is happening. However I'm more than happy to post a link to my current twitch channel so if anyone sees me live then they can stop by if they've nothing better to do.

The channel would obviously have to be PG like the rest of the site.
LiamHaith Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 That is a good point. The channel would obviously have to be PG like the rest of the site. For a minute there I thought you were talking about Twitch being PG and was very confused, since you can do anything as long as you're of legal age to be doing it and not breaking any (Typically Federal laws). For example, you're allowed to drink alcohol and smoke as long as you're of the legal age to do so.
localzuk Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 I've split the conversation about Rocketleague and CS:Go into its own thread over here - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/gaming/171794-rocketleague-cs-go-edugeek-games.html
Joanne Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I'll post on here if I ever get chance to stream. With the football on though the TV is taken up in the evenings! But what game to stream? Minecraft? Fallout 4? GTA V? Call of Doody?
Tesla Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I'll post on here if I ever get chance to stream. With the football on though the TV is taken up in the evenings! But what game to stream? Minecraft? Fallout 4? GTA V? Call of Doody? Ahem... Joanne Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 We're on about streaming, not multi-playing? I'm confused now. Or maybe you are the one who is confused!!
localzuk Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 We're on about streaming, not multi-playing? I'm confused now. Or maybe you are the one who is confused!! Yeah, carry on! All of those games you listed stream well... Minecraft is good as a community stream, as there's more chance for interaction with chat.
LiamH Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I recently started playing the witcher 3, about a week too late for a complete lets play style thing. Maybe some niche games that wont be streamed a lot? warhammer : total war or something? Edugeek Civ 5 could be fun.
Joanne Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Ooof I love Witcher! I never bought it though... borrowed it off a friend.
Tesla Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 i thought we were talking about games that could be streamed......
localzuk Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 i thought we were talking about games that could be streamed...... Here, we're talking about streaming, and related stuff. The other stuff was moving into what games can we play as a community.
LiamH Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 i thought we were talking about games that could be streamed...... If you're confused by the single player games people watch them on stream plenty.
Joanne Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hahahahah!! I could also stream Hotline Miami - people might get a laugh from that...
X-13 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I'll post on here if I ever get chance to stream. With the football on though the TV is taken up in the evenings! But what game to stream? Minecraft? Fallout 4? GTA V? Call of Doody? Hahahahah!! I could also stream Hotline Miami - people might get a laugh from that... As a general rule, I'd say multiplayer games are only watchable if you're either REALLY good at them or you're doing a team co-op thing. Single player stuff is better if you're on your own. Use the down-time between story sections to talk about the game or whatever. Plus random stuff happens in the overworld that can be funny. Maybe some niche games that wont be streamed a lot? warhammer : total war or something? Edugeek Civ 5 could be fun. Those can end up really boring, though... I recently started playing the witcher 3, about a week too late for a complete lets play style thing. #TeamYennifer Could use it for casual stream.
Joanne Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 #TeamJoanne I'm defo gonna stream hotline miami... peeps can see me fail hard! Any times that are best? Late at night or early evening?
localzuk Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 Post your Twitch username so we can find you...! Same for anyone else who streams.

X-13 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) SlenderTech on Twitch/YouTube. Though it's probably easier to follow @RealSlenderTech on teh twitter. That's where things get announced/linked automatically. Edited June 21, 2016 by X-13
CAM Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I can't even watch Twitch, let alone stream to it. I only have 2.5Mb shared upload and I suffer from the persistent buffering glitch when watching.
Joanne Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Sucks to be you! Apparently my 37MB wasn't enough to game share with our friend
