Speaking as a former bookseller: well done to all of those for managing to stay afloat in the face of competition from digital, chains and online. Hate the seating thing that is now common though. Most people are great, but there always used to be at least one a day who would take a huge pile of books to a chair and sit there for hours, treating them badly and then leave them next to the chair on exit without buying anything.
