The St Albans School IT Services department is committed to the provision of high quality technical and user support. We are looking to recruit an experienced IT and Data Systems Technician to add to the department’s current technical expertise.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have strong experience administering IT and data systems along with problem solving within a Microsoft Windows environment. The role involves working closely with staff and pupils with a range of technical competence so the ability to explain and guide users clearly and sensitively is crucial.

 

 

Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is adaptability and the ability to perform effectively as part of a team. Experience with Active Directory, SQL Server, Hyper-V, Office 365, VLEs, and an understanding of network infrastructure would be advantageous.

 

 

The position is full year, 37.5 hours per week. The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
