phishphan Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Hello. Migrating to Windows 10 and ran into my first dislike - Windows Update with the Metro interface. It's horrible for many reasons. That said, it looks like there's a way to revert back to the Classic Shell but for the EDU version of W10 that doesn't appear to be the case. Per Softpedia: HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX In the right side of the screen, look for the “IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled” option and double-click it. Simply change its value to 0 and you're good to go. However in the EDU version under that registry key there is no “IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled" option. All I have is a DeferUpgrade and UxOption. I tried changing the UxOption from a 0 to a 1 but that didn't seem to do anything. Any help would be appreciated.
