Local Remote Desktop User Group Missing

Hello

 

We have come across a strange problem whereby certain Win 10 PCs are now missing the local remote desktop users group.

 

This has obviously caused an issue with setting up remote access as the group is not there on the remote PC to add the user too.

 

So far research has suggested the way around this is a complete re-build but the problem has occurred on relatively new machines and we would like to avoid this if at all possible. The only cause we can possibly think of is that when the now problematic PCs were upgraded from Win 7 or 8 we had a bad build of or corrupt media for Win 10.

 

Has anyone else come across this problem or has anybody got any suggestions on how to get the group back?
