unixman_again Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I'm not wearing a tie today and I'm finding it difficult to clean my glasses.
Oaktech Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I'm not wearing a tie today and I'm finding it difficult to clean my glasses. Do you not have a pile of cleaning cloths somewhere that came free with every tablet you ever bought?
NokiX Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Do you not have a pile of cleaning cloths somewhere that came free with every tablet you ever bought? iPad's don't because, you know, Apple being Apple give you a fancy box instead.
Oaktech Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 iPad's don't because, you know, Apple being Apple give you a fancy box instead. I wouldn't know about iPads, but I've got cloths from Acer, Lenovo and Linx. I've definitely got Apple cloths, but I think they came with MacBooks.
Andrew_C Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 That's what the long bits at the front of shirts are for. The bits the kids can't tuck in...
unixman_again Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 Problem solved! I brought a cleaning cloth to work today. Of course, next week the problem won't exist, as I'll be back in shirt and tie.
enjay Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I'm having similar problems - the lanyard of my ID badge is uncomfortable on my bare neck where normally it sits outside a shirt collar...
unixman_again Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 I have the same problem as enjay, so I leave my lanyard on the desk and carry it when I need to go to the loo. Going to the loo has been a pain for the last couple of days - they've coned off one of the doors and we have to walk all the way around to the other side of the building to get to the staff facilities. I never feel right about using the student facilities.

We have shared facilities here too, which I'm not a big fan of either (mainly because they're used by teenage boys so are not in the nicest condition...) although it is just one toilet not stalls, so privacy remains.
Andrew_C Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Going to the loo has been a pain for the last couple of days You need to see a doctor about that! 1
