The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £33,686 - £40,716 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

 

The post holders role is to support and enhance learning, teaching, research and carry out a range of IT administrative processes in the UCL School of Public Policy [Department of Political Science]. S/he will work closely with colleagues in the Information Services Division (ISD).

 

Responsibilities will vary and include: IT Service delivery and management for the IT provision within the department of Political Science for staff and student, Web designer, development & management. Please refer to the Job Description for full details.

 

The post holders will join a dynamic and supportive environment, in a thriving fast paced faculty. The department has strong links with other departments within the University and with other external establishments.

 

Applications are sought from individuals holding a degree or equivalent with skills and experience in IT services. You should also have an excellent understanding of Information Technology Client Devices, Audio Visual and experience of designing and developing Web Sites. You should process an excellent working knowledge of common application packages and technologies e.g. MS Office 365, Email Client (Exchange), Active Directory and networking.

 

You should also be proficient in supporting client operating systems specifically including MS Windows 10 and OS X.

 

You should have excellent customer service skills, a passion for innovation as well as new technology and be able to demonstrate your ability in IT together with relevant experience in supporting users with a range of IT equipment and software’.
