ICTDirect_Dave Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Okay, as I'm weak and will shortly be in possession of a shiny new GTX 1080, I'm going to sell my current cards to get a bit of cash back. Firstly there is my lovely MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G. Been in occasional use for around a year, hasn't been pushed too hard. Comes with original box and is in perfect condition I'd like £180 for it ideally Lastly is my little MSI GT 750 OC 2GB. It's been in use again for around a year and has only been used as a PhysX card. I'd like £55 for it. Any takers? If you're coming down to EDIT next week I can even hand deliver it for you!
vortex999 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Hello Dave I am tempted as my 580 is getting a bit long in the tooth now! I might wait and see what the 1070 will be like, although at 1080p I dont know if there will much gained over the 970.
DalekSec Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 From what I have read the 1080 is more powerful than the Titan X which is twice as much, Meaning the difference between 970 and 1080 will be HUGE. I have a 980ti and i'm having to stop myself form getting the 1080....
ICTDirect_Dave Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 My 970 doesn't sweat anything at 1080p, but it's been held up a little at 1440p which is my native resolution these days. The 970 is still a really great card athe most common card amongst Steam users. But for once I found myself with actual cash that I could spend on myself at just the moment a great new graphics card was released

I was never a huge tidy case person but after that it's nearly perfectly tidy! (Just need some braided cables now)

NokiX Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Oh how I wish I could afford your 970 my 770 is starting to struggle since most games demand a higher amount of video memory but I simply don't have the spare cash! Don't suppose you would want to buy a dell poweredge 1850 from me as that would help towards the card!
