AD FS 2.0 Proxy

I am trying to get AD FS Proxy going on my ADFS Windows 2008 R2 server. I already have AD FS 2.0, but it would allow me to run the setup file to add Federation Proxy, it just says AD FS already installed.

 

Please could someone advise on how I'm supposed to get this part of AD FS 2.0 installed?

I thought that you could only install the proxy (Web Application Proxy) on a server that was not the Federation Server (ADFS server)? if that is indeed what you are attempting to do. Needs to be two separate boxes if my memory serves me correctly.... but I could be wrong as I have not looked at the ADFS 2.0 docs for a while. Edited May 26, 2016 by HPlum78

Yep, needs to be a separate box. The proxy sits in your DMZ, and passes requests through to you internal ADFS server.
