Having an issue adding a printer via GPO. I've deployed this printer the same way I've done all ours and this will not show on the client. Using gpresult the printer does show up via GPO but does not show under devices.

This is the process I always use: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731292%28v=ws.11%29.aspx

Looking at event viewer I get this error: Group Policy was unable to add per computer connection \\DC\Library HP M401. Error code 0x52e. This can occur if the name of the printer connection is incorrect, or if the print spooler cannot contact the print server.

Any suggestions?

Group Policy was unable to add per computer connection \\DC1\Library_HP_M401. Error code 0x6ba. This can occur if the name of the printer connection is incorrect, or if the print spooler cannot contact the print server. This is not happening on another machine in the same OU.

[Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Deployed Printers]

[user Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Deployed Printers]

Check both locations make sure its set to deploy to the computer and user

Got it. It was a driver issue. Changed it to HP Universal PS and it works fine now. The printer still does not show up under devices for the local administrator account though.
