Renaming locked down XP thin client

We have 30 thin clients running XP. They are running some locked down version of XP, fits on 1GB. On the desktop there is a shortcut to remote desktop services. I have no access to anything else, I don't know how they are locked down as they we installed before my time. Over the time I needed to clone a few, which means a few have the same name. This seem to be working and there are no issues connecting to RD server, but I'm thinking it might be causing issues and slowness of the server.

 

Can anyone suggest a way to change the computer name? Is there a reg hack I can use and change some ini file? The C drives are shared and I can access them over the network.
