Hi all

 

Smoothwall is expanding the categorisation team in Leeds. The role is primarily concerned with maintaining and improving the categorisation rules which power Smoothwall’s dynamic web content filtering technology.

 

This is an important technical and diverse role that requires a wide range of technical skills and specialist knowledge of internet technologies.

 

It's not just looking at web sites and categorising them. The team spend a lot of time building software tools to automate the process, they constantly refine our content modification rules and are currently actively engaged in the Safeguarding initiatives and future collaborative categorisation systems.
