Hello all. In short, it's a Raspberry Pi running that Raspbian thing they come with. Xming on my Windows PC, X11 forwarding ticked in putty (and the "localhost:0" thing on and off for testing.) Trying to get the crashplan app running on the Pi. It's installed and all, but X11 forwarding isn't working quite right on the thing.

Gedit and xterm both produce odd little errors, but will actually bring up their respective windows despite that. Gedit for example does:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ gedit

** (gedit:1038): WARNING **: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not provided by any .service files

** (gedit:1038): WARNING **: Could not load Gedit repository: Typelib file for namespace 'GtkSource', version '3.0' not found

But running the crashplan desktop app will just do nothing. As in, the command looks to run ok, and a new prompt appears, but no gui window. Root or regular user, neither work. I've had it working before on a different Ubuntu server one time, not by doing anything different either, just seems like I'm missing something now.

Anyone have any ideas?
