GRitchie Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) PE have asked me to price up an iPad (for recording for GCSE classes etc. primarily). I'm all for it, I've used iPads in a network in the past and they're great (so long as they're not shared... - however I haven't experienced the new iOS which supposedly helps this). At the moment, it's just the one iPad so how would I be best configuring it? Should I just set it up as a standalone thing and deploy it? Or should I look at setting it up with some MDM (say Meraki) in preparation for them buying more - which no doubt would happen. Thanks! Edited May 18, 2016 by GRitchie
MatthewL Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Start as you mean to go on, get it locked down and on a MDM then as more come in you don't have to go chasing the older ones when you need to add it to it and get the resistance from the staff. 1

Would give you the chance to sign up for Apple School Manager if you've don't have any VPP or DEP accounts yet...? https://school.apple.com/#enrollment
