MrFrostmaul Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Hi all, Just updated to Office 2016 on computers around the school and typical Outlook has a problem. When users load it, it just on loading profile and does not do anything else. When I try to create an account manually to setup it comes up with This server does not support EAS...... Anyone know how to fix this so Outlook 2016 will talk with 365? Thanks
beany1 Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 If your using Office 365 then the error EAS indicates that your trying to use the light version of Exchange which is the consumer outlook.com. I'm assuming on the wizard you went to manually configure account? If so I don't think you click the first outlook option. If you use the initial add email account wizard it should add your O365 without issue (unless your DNS settings are incorrect).

Hi Thanks, that error came up when trying to manually configure the account. Also found out that the company who manages our domain, removed the autodiscover record without asking or telling us. All working now
