Our Catering manager has been asking me about installing a couple of LCD's in the lunch hall and corriador so he can have a menu and notices scrolling on it. We have a onelan box in our main common room so he will be using that to display in there but dont want to fork out that much just for a lunch menu.

My first thought was a low spec pc with twin outputs or convert to cat5e and run cabling to the 2 monitors. Anyone else done a similar system?

How about using a digital photo frame or 2? create the files needed as jpegs copy onto 2 sd cards, whack sd cards in side of frame and turn on.

Or better yet a couple of wireless ones.

@Edu-IT: You can, but they can only show the same thing on all screens at any one time. If you want different content you need an additional OneLAN NTB.

We are using these and the main advantage is that they can be easily installed and upgraded in various locations around the school.

Available in various colours.

There is a Plasma TV in the dinning hall with amp & speakers with TMF on during breaks

We've got one NTB with two screens and I'm almost certain that they both show different things at different times of the day.
