Class set of Tablets

I am looking at buying a half class set of tablets to be used by our 'Creative Curriculum' team. I am looking at something which is portable, bearing in mind we have several stairs/steps and was wondering if there is anything available in something like a large holdall.

 

The main purpose of the tablets will be for photographs and music composition (Garage band type app). We are a primary school.

 

Any recommendations as to what type of tablet to purchase?

much as i hate to say it stick with ipads they are manageable androids arnt. as for carrying something like Carrier 20 Cart | Chromebook Storage Cart, iPad Storage Cart & Tablet Storage Cart | LocknChargeLocknCharge should do sync and charge and the ipads come out in baskets

You could look at LearnPads, they are Android and managed quite easily through the dedicated portal.
