My Lenovo tablet uses a Reaktek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN SDIO Network Adapter which does not support 5Ghz. I was looking to replace it (rather than using a USB adapter) and was wondering if a 5Ghz or dual band SDIO actually exists. Have searched but cannot seem to find one anywhere.
Cloud based SIMS not available yet. Unfortunately, we have been TOLD we are moving to Bromcom. Just a look at a demo database frightened the hell out of me because I can see staff members baulking at the sheer look of it.
What is your experience with Bromcom?
I need a dual band wifi adaptor for my Ideapad. Unfortunately, the tablet part of this only has micro usb ports and I cannot find an adaptor that will fit. I know I can get one with a normal usb connector but I want to be able to use the tablet without the keyboard attached.
I work in a Primary school and need to find password protected photo/video sharing so parents can view child's work securely. EYFS use Tapestry, which is great, but I can't find anything for years 1-6. Any ideas?
I am looking at buying a half class set of tablets to be used by our 'Creative Curriculum' team. I am looking at something which is portable, bearing in mind we have several stairs/steps and was wondering if there is anything available in something like a large holdall.
The main purpose of the tablets will be for photographs and music composition (Garage band type app). We are a primary school.
Any recommendations as to what type of tablet to purchase?
