BVS EcoTouch Touchscreen Displays

Anyone had any experience/knowledge of these displays ?

They look very competitively priced with some positive testimonials. £1,585.00 EX Vat for a 65" display.

Hi @ReBoot not seen the BVS screens and so cannot comment on them, what I can say though is this, there are more and more screens and screen brands cropping up all the time. Personally I would be vary of some of these new brands as they could easily disappear the next day. If you are wanting to get interactive screens I would highly suggest sticking with know brands such as, SMART, BenQ, Promethean, Vividtouch, Clevertouch, iiyama.

 

These brands have been around for a long time and although they are often more expensive this is generally due to the fact that they offer a god warranty, are fully tested and compliant, offer good support etc.

We've got 3 of the BVS EcoTouch screens after seeing another school who have 20 off them! We've never had any problems and neither has the other school.

 

The sound is a bit crap but we've got round that by putting in Soundbars.

Completely agree that you normally get what you pay for when it comes to warranty and aftersales support. However as these are coming out at similar prices to a halfway decent lampless short throw projector I'm seriously considering giving them a look.

Could you point me in the direction of where you got that price from for a 65" promthean screen please as I would be very interested.

i got excited there as £1585 is lower than we got quoted but by the time you add on the wall mount and delivery, then install we are much the same. We are paying £1825 installed with software and AV plate included plus our installer ( not go education ) are taking away the old IWB and projector.

 

Have you bought the BVS screens yet? if so are they working as expected please?

Yes all our BVS Screens are working as expected they are great. The teachers and students love them!
