Themes, long login times, and "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this file"

Working on a unified UI across machines and so far, custom Themes seem to be the best way to do it. However, mucking about with custom .theme files has hit me with a little bit of a snag. If I use Group Policy (User Configuration, Policies, Administrative Templates, Control Panel, Personalization, Load a specific theme) to apply the theme which is copied to the local machine as part of a ROBOCOPY /MIR startup script, it takes forever to login, and if I leave it long enough, I'm greeted with the confirmation box to delete the theme? If I click no, the theme loads seemingly fine. I haven't tried clicking yes and seeing what happens (though, the user shouldn't have permission to delete the file anyway)

Anyone else hit this?

Hi there,

Did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? I have exactly the same issue, and this is the only Forum Thread I can find with something similar!

Any hints would be much appreciated :)

Unfortunately, I got nada.

I eventually just stopped trying and left that out. Standard W10 theme isn't bad, I was only doing it to change the default colours to our school colours which I eventually did with reg keys IIRC
