Simcfc73 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Hi, I've been using 10 at home and due to a my work PC failing I decided to install Windows 10. Problem is I installed EDU when I could do with Enterprise or Professional as I need Remote Desktops. Anyone managed to do this? I've tried entering a new product key and some long winded DISM version upgrade but neither worked. I really don't want to reinstall.. its taken me all day to set this up
Arthur Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Education has the Remote Desktop client. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/WindowsForBusiness/Compare
Simcfc73 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 Remote Desktops, RDP is fine. I've installed Remote Desktop Connection manager now. Much better
Arthur Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Unless I am being thick, you wouldn't gain anything by switching from the Education edition to Enterprise. They both have mstsc.exe. http://i.cubeupload.com/KGioGb.png I've installed Remote Desktop Connection manager now. That's still a remote desktop client?
