[sccm 2012] SCCM & MDT

Afternoon all

 

Has anybody integrated MDT with SCCM? I've been working on SCCM doing O/S deployment, and it's working quite well with our current GM image - however, I am wondering whether it would be worth integrating with our existing MDT server?

 

Suggestions welcome, don't want to waste time with something that may not be beneficial.

 

I intend to do full ZTI deployment with SCCM and have no need for user input at image time.

I integrated it with SCCM a year ago. So far I have only used it to rename new builds to serial numbers of the machine by using some of the resources available (Edit: MDT Toolkit) (i know you could probably do this in powershell or some other way), but it appears to work really well and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

 

You can do allot more and to be honest, personally I would just do it in case its needed in the future if that make sense...

Cushty! I think I will then, currently updating the SCCM box as it's horrifically out of date.

I recently upgraded from SCCM 2012 R2 to SCCM 1511 and the difference in speed of deploying images was huge - a lot, lot quicker now
