Filepath placeholder in music playlist

Hi all

 

Instead of highlighting a list of music saved on a memory stick to play them, I'd like to know if it's possible to get a playlist file working. Editing a .m3u in notepad shows the filepath of each track - is there a placeholder I can use instead of the drive letter so the playlist can always find where the tracks are?

Make the paths in the playlist(s) relative by completely removing the drive letter and/or some/all of the folders. i.e.

 

From

X:\Artist\Album\01. Track 1.flac

 

To

Artist\Album\01. Track 1.flac

 

If the playlist is saved in the same folder as the tracks themselves you would be better off removing the folder paths so that the M3U just contains the filenames of each track.

02. Track 2.flac
03. Track 3.flac
