Hi,

I have upgraded a few pcs to Windows 10 and they only have the user's home drive showing in 'My PC'

The other shared drives they should get, are not there.

Can anyone help with this?

Many thanks

Hi Sarah,

Have you checked the GPO log file? There might be something in there which will point to where the problem lies. It might well be a targeted filter preventing certain GPO's from applying on the machine.

Is it happening to all users, or just some?

Also, make sure the machines are sitting in the correct OU. The upgrade might have moved them out of the container (unlikely but you never know).

How are you mapping your drives? If the home folder is specified in the user's AD account this could explain why you see just that drive and nothing else since whatever method you're using to map the other drives is failing. I use Group Policy Preferences to map all my users' drives and it never skips a beat.

Hi,

I've now changed from a script to GP drive mapping which has worked. Users are now seeing their mapped drives.

However, I'm having a nightmare with access to these drives. Home drives - access denied username and password incorrect. All other mapped drives - device name already in use error.

I've tried various registry hacks etc. occasionally something will work but then reverts to no access. This is driving me mad! :(
