HOLLOW CROWN COMPETITION

Swooning over Benedict Cumberbatch’s Richard III, The Hollow Crown – and the series’ scenery? Why not trace his steps with a trip to beautiful Kent!

Many of Kent’s most beautiful landmarks have starred in famous films and TV series over the years – and now it’s easy than ever to explore Kent’s cinematic history with Kent Film Office’s new Tudor(ish) Trail of Kent film locations.

To celeblate the new film tourism trail, we’re giving you and your family the chance to visit some of the stunning locations featured in The Hollow Crown.

One lucky winner will be able to retrace Richard III’s steps in the series with a visit to ‘The Tower’ at Dover Castle, a punt along Leeds Castle’s moat, and a trip to the house and gardens of Penshurst Place. We’re also giving away one runner up a special bundle of Tudor(ish) film goodies to enjoy.

So whether you’re a Shakespeare fan, a history buff, or if you’re just nuts about Cumberbatch, embrace your passions with a trip to The Garden of England.

First prize – free family entry to Dover Castle, Penshurst Place, and Leeds Castle + a punting experience on the moat

Second prize – a DVD copy each of Wolf Hall, The Other Boleyn Girl and The Hollow Crown Series One, a copy of the Deborah Moggach novel Tulip Fever (an adaptation of which was recently filmed in Kent and is due out this year), and two adult cinema tickets courtesy of Kent Film Office
