Chriss31 Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Morning all I have one PC in school which is having trouble loading SIMS. I can log in fine, but it hangs on the loading screen. If I then click on it I get a "SIMS is not responding" message with options to try to restore, close, or wait for the program to respond. Weirdly if I select "try to restore" it suddenly logs in fine. This would be all well and good however this PC manages our electronic sign in system which is now having issues updating from SIMS as a result. I have removed sims from the C drive and reinstalled, checked the Connect.ini and SIMS.ini files and they are correct. I have also ensured the PC has all the current Windows updates and no success. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't recall this being an issue before the most recent SIMS release (7.168.5) so I don't know whether that has any relevance to it. Many thanks Chriss
Esteban_Child_of_the_Sun Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 If you leave it to log in without intervention, does it eventually get there? If so that could suggest it is having problems communicating with your Document Management Server.
Chriss31 Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Do you map a network drive for your sims We do, yes.
