Download of SIMS?

I am currently looking for a version of Capita Sims. I do not mind whether it is the oldest version but I would like one. My kids run a play-school and want it to be really realistic. They are quite good with computers so they know about all this stuff. I used to work with MIS Systems, but that was long ago. Thanks

The way you get SIMS legally is to contact Capita and pay for it. Nobody here will help you get it free - even an old version

Do you think if I tell them my situation, they may let me have it. How much do you think it will cost?

I have no idea what it will cost, but you will have to pay. They won't discuss licensing costs publicly. Personally I think SIMS is overkill for a small playschool. Also play-schools tend to have flexible days of attendance and even hours - most of the school MIS cope very badly with anything other that 5 day a week attendance.

 

If you google free school MIS. It suggests SMIS. I have no idea what that's like. Try searching for one aimed at preschools

As @elsiegee40 says, it is an overkill for your requirements. Also SIMS isn't as easy as you think it is, we have a team of qualified IT professionals and we require specialist support with SIMS. Somone who is "quite good with computers" will be baffled by it.

This sounds oddly familiar to a post a couple of weeks back looking for a free download of sims. Notice that poster is new, and also says location is USA... if true odd looking for a UK specific MIS... if not then why hiding?
