DavidHolderness Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Have you tried resetting to first run status? We had this issue with outlook still pulling credentials off our old mail server on certain machines Type these in cmd reg.exe delete HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles\Outlook /f reg.exe add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles\Outlook From http://serverfault.com/questions/526538/outlook-2013-how-to-reset-to-first-run-status
timbo343 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Remove the standard outlook profile and create a new one. Also temporary removing the proxy whilst its sets up sorts this out too.
ColinP Posted April 6, 2016 Author Posted April 6, 2016 Thanks we just discovered on Monday, that making the email server a local site under bypass proxy server in Internet Explorer makes it work Cheers
Areku Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I've had the same issue, found a KB relating to it, https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/3119083 seems to be my issue, maybe it was yours?
RussellSmith Posted June 19, 2017 Posted June 19, 2017 Yesterday, I had encountered the same problem in Outlook 2016 without any prior notice. Then, I took the assistance of ScanPST.exe to eliminate this error. But, it failed repeatedly before scanning entire Outlook data file. I also went through ScanPST.exe alternatives but no one is freeware. Till now, I have collected some useful references: Top 6 Best PST File Repair Tools for all MS Outlook Versions Five reliable Outlook PST file repair tools - TechRepublic https://www.stellarinfo.com/outlook-pst-file-recovery.php But, the above references are talking about paid tools. If possible, help me to find any freeware.
