Kingstech Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 We have got a Lenovo B560 Laptop that has had a Supervisor password and a User password set. Does anyone know if there is a way of resetting the BIOS on it? I cant see where the CMOS is located in the laptop. Thanks in Advance.
yugo Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Looks like the CMOS battery might be close to the sata port if you pause at 3.02 in this video: ,full disassembly required though by the looks of it.
difinity Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Removing the CMOS battery won't work. It should give you a system disabled number if you try the supervisor password 3 times.
