Koldov Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) I've used BGinfo for server 2003 & 2008 - it would be nice to have it for 2012, but I've read that you can't change anything like themes without installing the desktop experience. But I can't remember if BGinfo just did wallpaper once logged in or did the login screen as well. What about backinfo, I've heard that does something similar to BGinfo and this guy seems to think it's a MS offering? ITGURU Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I have a free script which changes the default logo screen for our schools logo. Runs once at computer start up if has the default wallpaper, to change it and job done. mkdir c:\windows\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds copy \\domain.local\sysvol\domain\scripts\backgrounddefault.jpg C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background\ /f /v OEMBackground /t REG_DWORD /d 1
Boredguy Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Our Windows 10 station has the logon screen generated via bginfo and bmp2jpg at startup.
