Keyboard is working and USB mice is frozen

Hi

 

My sound was not working on my PC and I did a registry fix , since then my mouse is frozen. I backed up the registry and restored but no joy, But my keyboard is working fine. I tried RDP into the PC and uninstalled all the universal serial bus controllers and restarted and still the mice is frozen.

If I go to Device manager- mouse and pointing devises- I can see the HID Compliant mouse-Properties- It says the device is working properly

 

Any help to sort this problem much appreciated.

I would suggest removing/uninstall the mouse driver from the device manager and re-scan for it.. See if that helps to fix the issue. Edited March 21, 2016 by Ertech

Check the power properties for the USB connected devices.

 

Had this problem a lot with USB Keyboards other usb devices.
