Morning all,

We've recently moved to SCCM for imaging our PC's in school. All existing PC's are absolutely fine, however I've got about 10 brand new Viglen PC's which I'm having issues with.

I pxe boot the PC and it gets into SCCM. I select our Windows 7 task sequence and the process begins. Within a few seconds at the "Copying Windows Preinstallation Environment" stage, the process halts with the attached error.

I have had one of the new Viglens image, but can't work out what I did to get it to do so! I don't believe it is a driver issue as the drivers for the PC have been added to SCCM.

I'm sure there must be a setting in the BIOS that I have to change (I have already set it so that it uses legacy devices rather than UEFI as I think that is part of the issue).

Anyone able to help?

Thanks in advance

You should enable F8 Command support in your boot image settings in SCCM, try running the TS again and when it fails hit F8 to get a command prompt and grab the CCM Logs directory (I believe they'll be in X:\_SMSTaskSequence or something).

Ok...resolved it.

Made a couple of minor changes in the bios (using legacy HDD and network card rather than Uefi) and built a new task sequence specifically for UEFI PC's (specifically to format the hard drive) and it worked like a charm
