Afternoon ladies and gents!

We have a new pupil coming to school who is short sighted. Does anyone have any recommendations for some software to mirror what's on the teachers IWB to an ipad or laptop? Preferably an iPad?

Thanks very much!

Been looking into this too, for the same reason. Tried Reflector, had a few issues with it. We were using Teamviewer Meeting, but that's not great as it generates a fresh session ID each connection, which you need to manually enter every time it's used.

Currently doing a trial of Splashtop Classroom (if you e-mail them and ask politely they'll give you an extended trial). I really like it, you can snap a QR code to connect, and there's an option to keep the same session ID(s), so you don't need to keep reconnecting the client tablet to the PC.

Thumbs up from me in testing, but I haven't been back to the school to get feedback from the teacher or pupil yet (so can't give you any feedback on reliability) but I strongly suspect the school will end up getting it, as it addresses many of their issues with Teamviewer.

You could try using plain old VNC. Install the server part on the teachers workstation and the client on the ipad and point to the teacher machine. Simple free solution we've used for a short sighted pupil in one school.
