ITGURU Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I'm currently testing windows 10 and have 2 policies, 1 for staff 1 for students. When I log on as a student, any desktop shortcuts which have been created in the GPO appear on the desktop with the IE symbol which is how it should be. However, when I log on as a staff member, all desktop shortcuts which have been created in the staff GPO appear with a globe as the icon, and when you double click on them it comes up saying the target "" of this internet shortcut is not a valid and doesn't open. Anyone know what could be causing this, as have no issues with the icons appearing and working when logging on to the windows 7 PCs.
