Hi All

I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction as this has got me stumped and I'm not quite sure what I've done wrong.

We've got a backup of the old CLEO hosted moodle which I've now restored to an in house server and the restore appears to have worked with a few tweaks apart from Course Images won't display unless you are logged in to moodle for some reason.

If you log in, everything appears to work as normal so I'm not sure what configuration option is likely to be different or incorrect. It is an old 1.9 Moodle which I do intend to try and drag up to either 2.7 or 3 in the near future, but just for now I'd like it to work as it was.

any help/advice?

Cheers

Hi there! Me again (I just manifest anytime the word "Moodle" appears online :) ) I do suspect the course images were uploaded into the course and would never have displayed for guests previously, unless guest access was available or there was some caching issue. The simplest solution for now is to add them to the site files. When you upgrade to 3.0 or later (3.1 will be LTS) then each course now has a space for a course image so if you add them into the course description on a modern Moodle, you won't have this problem.

I moved them into Site Files as advised (there were about 15 courses that I know of, nobody else has complained yet) and that sorted it.
