OWA + Logging on

We have an Exchange 2003 server and it is acting very strange. This error is only affecting one user where when the user logs in, the user gets the logon page, logs on but then gets the page cannot be found screen. It has only happened today no settings have been changed the rest of the users can logon and check their mail not a problem.

 

Any help / advice will be appreciated.

Have you checked that all the Exchange servers are running?

Yes we have only got one server

Have you tried sending the user a test email? I've seen something similar when I've created a new user but there was nothing in the mailbox and it hadn't actually created it as such.

 

Sent them a "test" email, and all worked after that.

 

May be rubbish, but could be worth a try?

I cracked it there was an invalid smtp address in the users account under there e-mail address.

Does the individual user have OWA enabled?

we had this before our internal domain name is not the same as our external but if we give users only a external smtp address then owa wont log in but if we give them internal as well things seem to work ok then.
